This years Six Streets Arts Trail (all off Kedleston Road) is this weekend, with LOADS happening for all the family. Have a look at http://www.sixstreetsartstrail.co.uk/ for all the details!
From the website:
This year’s trail will take place on Saturday 22 and Sunday 23 June.
Over forty artists and makers will display work in their own homes and those of friends and neighbours. Exhibitors include painters, printers, textile artists, ceramicists, photographers, film-makers and jewellery-makers.
The trail will also feature a beautiful garden café, ‘pop-up’ cafes and live music.
On Sunday, the WI Hall will be open for vintage-style crafts and teas and a History Trail inspired by the 1953 coronation.
Venues will open from 10.00am to 5.00pm on both days. Trail guide plus badge costs £3 per person and entry is free for under 18’s. Guides will be available from venues around the trail.
The Six Streets area is off Kedleston Road, Derby DE22 and includes Bromley Street, Wheeldon Avenue, White Street, Statham Street and Park Grove.
As has happened for the last few years, the St Paul’s Preshool Playgroup (Derby’s BEST preschool!) are holding a Well Dressing at Marcus Street Well. The dedication is happening on Friday June 7th at 10.30 am. It will then be moved to be part of the display at the Flower festival at St. Paul’s Church on 8th – 10th June.
Please come and support this lovely community event. The Well Dressing has been lovingly created by the children of St. Paul’s Preschool Playgroup, and is their best yet 🙂 This years well dressing can be seen below, and the well dressing of previous years, and details of the event on WellDressing.com can be found by clicking this link.
