Little Chester Local History Group has a Website

The Group was formed in 1984 in Chester Green, a Conservation Area of Derby, UK. It is an area with a rich heritage from Roman, through the Victorian Industrial Age, to recent times. Currently the Group has around 50 members. Its objectives are to encourage community spirit in the area by:

  • Promoting interest in local history
  • Arranging a programme of talks and visits covering both local and general history; social events are also arranged.
  • Gathering and storing information on the local history of the area.
  • Endeavouring to preserve and conserve the heritage of the area
