LCRA December Newsletter
All the details of the XMas goings on in Chester Green are in! Note, we missed off the 7th Day Adventist Church XMas Carol Service (sorry) which is at Chester Green Seventh-day Adventist Church 220 Mansfield Rd., Derby DE1 3RB on Friday 19th December, 6.30-8pm followed by refreshments – everyone warmly welcome.
Included are details on Community Centre, Coach & Horses, St. Paul’s Church, Methodist Church and Adele Francesca Performance Academy.

Chester Green Seventh-day Adventist Church Christmas Carol Service
A Christmas Carol Service will be held at Chester Green Seventh-day Adventist Church 220 Mansfield Rd., Derby DE1 3RB.
It will be held on Friday 19th December, 6.30-8pm followed by refreshments – everyone warmly welcome.
Darley Abbey Craft Fair 16th November
The annual Autumn Craft Fair will be held on Sunday 16 November from 11am to 4pm in Darley Abbey Village Hall, Abbey Yard, off New Road, Darley Abbey, DE22 1DS.
This popular event is the perfect place to buy Christmas gifts. Stallholders will be selling a range of crafts and gifts, many of them hand made.
Tea, coffee and cake will be on sale and there will also be the chance to win gifts in the tombola.

Darley Ward Forum Next Week
If you’d like to have your say and make your opinions known to our local councillors, then a public forum is happening on Wednesday 24 September 2014, 7:00pm at Broadway Baptist Church Hall.

George Sorocold (c. 1668 – c. 1738) was an engineer in Derby in the eighteenth century.
All meetings start at 7.30pm and are held in Darley Abbey Village Hall, Abbey Yard off New Road, Darley Abbey,, DE22 1DS
There is a charge of £1 for members of the Historical Group and £3 for visitors (this has increased from £2)

DerwentWISE Opening event at the Silk Mill – 28th June
