A Christmas Carol Service will be held at Chester Green Seventh-day Adventist Church 220 Mansfield Rd., Derby DE1 3RB.
It will be held on Friday 19th December, 6.30-8pm followed by refreshments – everyone warmly welcome.

The annual Autumn Craft Fair will be held on Sunday 16 November from 11am to 4pm in Darley Abbey Village Hall, Abbey Yard, off New Road, Darley Abbey, DE22 1DS.
This popular event is the perfect place to buy Christmas gifts. Stallholders will be selling a range of crafts and gifts, many of them hand made.
Tea, coffee and cake will be on sale and there will also be the chance to win gifts in the tombola.

George Sorocold (c. 1668 – c. 1738) was an engineer in Derby in the eighteenth century.
