Please note this Sunday, 28 October, is a special service for All Souls where there will be a special moment to remember those whom we have loved and who have died. There will be an opportunity to light candles in their memory

And all are very welcome to our next Soul Breakfast which is on Sunday 4 November. No fireworks, but plenty of excitement…

The December Soul Breakfast will be a bit different and will be a Christingle service in St.Paul’s Church. Sunday 2nd December. More details in next newsletter.

The ‘Soul’ season is on us again, and we start with a rush this year as we have two Soul Events on Sunday 7th October:

10am Soul Breakfast in the Church Hall – a couple of clips from a much loved children’s film, songs from two of St.Paul’s favourite singers, children’s activity table, brilliant breakfast prepared by St.Paul’s ‘church mice’

8pm Soul Cafe a one-off Soul Cafe in the church with coffee and cakes with live music from Rosie Meek and The Open Road, thoughts from ‘Dreaming of Home’, poetry and an imaginative prayer corner.. Not to be missed and bring friends!

Please note also that it is our Harvest Service on Sunday 14 October at 10am. Please bring produce which will then be taken to the Padley Centre. We will also be taking up a collection for the Home of Hope in South India (see http://flmhope.org/index.php?page=home-of-hope)

I look forward to seeing you soon

with best wishes
